What You Will Do

• Coordinate sample development for new styles to ensure timely approval of all aesthetic details and styling requirement.

• Ensure that product packages are accurate and complete with regards to information. 

• Take on commercialization role in peak season.

• Ensure sample shoes pass fit and wear tests. Analyze test failure to identify root cause and propose solution to the problem.

• Propose cost-saving initiatives to reduce product cost while not violating design intent.

• Support costing team and ensure all costs are appropriate and correct.

• Ensure all materials and components are tested and approved following standards. 

• Coordinate sample sole tooling within development timeline.

• Manage the work of team members.

What You Are Good At

​

• 10+ years of experience in product development process, especially leather goods. 

• Hands-on experience with shoes pattern making, modificating and grading techniques.

• Ability to work and check all kinds of technical drawings (pattern, tooling drawing, mould drawing, etc)

• Strong knowledge of foot anatomy including knowledge of fit and wear testing standard.

• Strong product costing knowledge.
