What You Will Do

• Work with Development team for new style handover for commercialization to identify risky production problems and provide solutions in advance with Technician team.

• Supervise the progress of approved styles from handover to bulk production to ensure production time schedule are communicated and achieved.

• Approve all technical aspects of new styles and ensure that all problems are tackled efficiently.

• Approve pattern and grading for new styles from sample size to full size for production.

• Set up standard production process for new styles along with key quality control points.

• Be in charge of tooling readiness (new sole moulds and/or upper tooling).

• Authorize bulk production after successful trials runs.

What You Are Good At

• 10+ years of experience in product development process, especially leather goods. 

• Hands-on experience with shoes pattern making, modificating and grading techniques.

• Ability to work and check all kinds of technical drawings (pattern, tooling drawing, mould drawing, etc)

• Strong knowledge of foot anatomy including knowledge of fit and wear testing standard.

• Strong product costing knowledge.
